ABOUT US

The TAL Logistics Group is owned and managed by Chairman Neil Taylor
and Chief Executive Richard Shaw from its head office in Sheffield,
South Yorkshire.

The company began life in 1999 when Neil Taylor founded TAL Eurospecial.
In December 2004 the TAL Logistics Group was established in order to offer customers a complete service, and to facilitate the management team’s ambitious objectives for growth.

Since 2004 the TAL Logistics Group has expanded rapidly through a combination of organic growth and an ambitious programme of acquisition.
Our expertise in handling even the most exacting of customer requirements has seen TAL Logistics more than quadruple in size over our first three years.

The success of the TAL Logistics Group reflects our on-going commitment to outstanding reliability and customer care, and our capacity to provide complete transport and logistics solutions time after time.

NEIL TAYLOR
Neil has worked in transport and logistics since leaving school and, after ten years of learning the trade, he established TAL Eurospecial with a single truck in 1999. His impressive understanding of the industry and a can-do approach to work have seen him drive the TAL Logistics Group from strength to strength through a process of organic growth and acquisition. In 2008 he was named Yorkshire Business Insider’s Best Entrepreneur of the year.

RICHARD SHAW
Richard is an accountant with extensive commercial experience at senior levels in the logistics sector. His contacts and financial acumen have complemented Neil’s solid practical understanding of the industry and played
a key role in developing and implementing the TAL Logistics Group’s ambitious and highly successful growth strategy.
